Author Information

Obi Shaaim Maa (Michael West) is an author and educator. He received his Master of Science in Education (Reading and Literacy) from Bank Street College of Education in 1995 and a B.A. from New York University in 1981. He has been an educator since 1988. He is the author of How to Increase Your Child's Intelligence Through the Use of Vitamins and Minerals and the upcoming Kheru Nefer: Beautiful Night (Angels of Egypt). Obi Shaaim Maa has been deeply involved in Ancient Egyptian culture since 1985. Metu DeggKhet is an internationally acclaimed artist and master of the airbrush. His paintings and edition prints are selling in the United State and parts of Europe. Raised in New York, Metu attended Pratt Institute and graduated in 1979 with a BFA in Communications Arts and Graphic Design. Metu worked for such firms as NW Ayers; Capeillo & Chadbrow; J. Walter Thompson and Jordan Case & Mc Grath, advertising agencies. An avid student of philosophy and history, Metu's chief resource is his unquenchable thirst and study of Ancient Egyptian history. Metu's art has appeared on the Fresh Prince of Belair and rhe Essence TV Shows.
