He is a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)-registered Practitioner Psychologist and a Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS). He has written widely around therapeutic theory and research, including co-editing The SAGE Handbook of Counselling and Psychotherapy (with Dr Laura Winter). Laura Anne Winter is a BPS Fellow and Chartered Psychologist, an HCPC-registered Counselling Psychologist, and a Reader in Counselling Psychology and Education based at the University of Manchester. She has co-edited several textbooks previously including The Handbook of Social Justice in Psychological Therapies (with Professor Divine Charura) and The SAGE Handbook of Counselling and Psychotherapy (with Professor Terry Hanley).
