As a young left-back, Kenny helped take Crystal Palace from the Third Division to the heights of the First to become 'The Team of the Eighties', before transferring to Arsenal where he cemented his position as the Number 1 left-back in the country. Playing among other Highbury legends of the 1980s, Kenny's professional and personal life took opposite paths, one leading to glory on the field, the other leading inexorably towards a precipice of addiction.
