Kelly Sutherland: King of the Chucks

Overview

World Champion. Cowboy. Entrepreneur. Scoundrel. Mentor. - Kelly is the supreme champion in chuckwagon racing and arguably Canada's toughest competitor ever in any sport. - He raced for five decades and won more World Championships, more Calgary Stampede Championships and more races than anyone on the planet! - By the time Kelly was 40, Calgary Stampede announcer Joe Carbury called him ""The King"" because of his winning ways - Maybe not always a fan favourite, in Sutherland's career he was a leader with remarkable tenacity and formidable fierceness. His desire to win fired up both men and horses. His rivals raced through clouds of his dust, chasing Kelly's eagle feather going hell for leather!
