On a cold Christmas Eve, a young boy named Jacob finds a silver bell in the snow outside his home -- lost from Santa's sleigh. Its clear, gentle sound seems to carry a promise meant just for him. Matthew Chatterley is an artist, author and educator. He currently is an adjunct professor of art at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. For most of his professional career he was an illustrator, graphic artist and Art Director in the newsroom of The Des Moines Register in Des Moines, Iowa. He received an M.F.A. in painting and drawing from Brigham Young University.
