Samuela E. Lubin has always gone against the norms. From a young age, she'd dreamt of becoming an Engineer. However, Samuela was often discouraged because the people around her said that the field ""wasn't for girls"". She didn't let that stop her.Samuela kept her head held high and persevered. She graduated from Florida International University and now holds a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering and a master's degree in Engineering Management.As a young black woman in a male-dominated field, Samuela wants to inspire more little girls to believe in themselves and chase after their dreams of pursuing careers in STEM fields. She wants to put an end to the stigma that STEM fields are for men.
