Author Information

Tandeep is an allied health professional with a side passion as a ceramic artist. This creative spark led her to write Kaur-ageous, her first book. This book honours the Sikh women whose contributions shaped the Sikh faith and the world. Shaping things, whether ideas, clay, or stories, fuels her inner growth and passion for igniting inspiration in others. This is reminder to us all that every day offers a chance to reshape who we are. Gurpreet is a multidisciplinary illustrator and creative who believes the stories of women in Sikhi deserve to be told in ways that feel alive and deeply relevant to the women of today. Through her art, she reimagines these stories with colour, soul, and intention; celebrating identity, heritage, and modern femininity. She is also the founder of Tiffin Society, a platform where Indian tradition meets contemporary design. For Gurpreet, creativity is an act of love for culture, for community, and for every Kaur who sees herself in the work.
