Author Information

Jacie Meldrum is a speech-language pathologist (SLP) from Montana with a background in psychology and early childhood education. She currently works full time as an SLP at a pediatric private practice in Missoula, MT. Jacie was inspired to create this book as a tool to use in speech therapy with young children with phonological disorders. The stars aligned when her sister, Jenna, agreed to collaborate and illustrate the book. When she's not writing or seeing clients, Jacie enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with her sweet dog, Frankie. Jenna Meldrum is a life-long artist with a passion for all things fun and bright. She works as an early childhood professional, employing her background in art and music education to foster creativity in young learners. Jenna was thrilled when Jacie asked her to illustrate this book, combining her love for drawing colorful characters with her work with children. In her free time, Jenna can be found wandering the woods, making music, and relaxing with her cat, Honey.
