Justice for Women through an Equitable Legal System was born out of a persistent reality and concern across the globe; the legal mechanisms designed to provide protection and fairness often fail to achieve their intended goals. This book is a response to that failure and a roadmap toward a necessary, transformative future. As I commend the Commission on the Status of Women, the United Nations General Assembly, the International Human Rights Commission, and other well-meaning organisations for their contributions to the promotion of gender equality and an inclusive and equitable legal system, I pray that this book will add more value to this noble cause.
