His work has been praised by many but never sold. Influenced by his uncle, George R. Warrek, a renowned sculptor in his own right, Hayes always remembered what George told him. ""Let the wood guide you - just start carving."" Hayes passed away in February of 2024, and this is the first publication of his body of work.
