Overview

A middle class American man dies after a blunder in a simple operation, and goes to purgatory to pay for his faults. When he is about to finish his sentence, he is suddenly informed that the system made a mistake, and he should have died on the first of March, not one day before, and therefore a day is owed to him. A thing like this had only happened twice in the last hundred centuries, both times during leap years. He is given ample time and freedom to plan his extra day, being allowed to fantasize on any possibility, from the simplest to the wildest scenarios. After reviewing his past life and analyzing it, he makes his decision on where and how to live his extra day. He comes back to earth again, and something unexpected happens.
