Overview

Jay Marshall, an edgy junior theater major, befriends Emma Montgomery, a celibate Christian sophomore transfer student with bipolar disorder. They bond after Emma's embarrassing tumble and become best friends. Emma falls for Brady Ellison, but Jay secretly loves her while he continues to mess around with Brie. Emma and Brady date, but he doesn't want to respect the fact that she wants to wait until marriage to have sex. Meanwhile, Jay ends things with Brie, who holds a grudge.
