OverviewWhat is your typical day? Maybe it's basically routine: arise in the morning, eat breakfast, go to work, crunch numbers or fill out forms, go home, eat supper, watch TV, and retire for the night. But what if you never knew exactly what your workday would be like, much less hour by hour? One moment you might be signing reports and filing paperwork, while on the next, you're pursuing a suspect, making an arrest, or getting shot at. For the men and women of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, their return home is never guaranteed. No one knows this better than author Anthony Oldham, a retired Special Agent who specialized in violent and reactive crime during his twenty-eight years with the FBI. His honest, fresh look behind the scenes of one of the most recognized and respected law-enforcement agencies in the world reveals the sometimes tedious, sometimes violent realities faced by Special Agents every day. It isn't Hollywood. It isn't headline news. ...Just Another Day in the FBI... is the story of real men and women who solve violent crimes with diligence, dedication, and nerves of steel.
