Criado en el Barrio de Carlsbad, California, principalmente por su abuelita materna yaqui, superó la severa dislexia y las barreras culturales llegando a resaltar como escritor reconocido internacionalmente. Sus libros celebran la sabiduría indígena, la herencia latina, las historias de familia, la sanación de nuestra Madre Tierra, la Paz y Armonía Mundial, y que solo hay Una Raza: Nuestra Raza Humana.
