Dr Nicole Phillip-Dowe – who holds a PhD in History from The University of the West Indies, is Head of The University of the West Indies, Open Campus, Grenada, and formerly Dean of the School of Arts, Sciences and Professional Studies at TA Marryshow Community College, Grenada. She is the author of Women in Grenadian History, 1783-1983, which won the 2013 UWI Press Best-Selling Scholarly Monograph award and co-editor of Perspectives on the Grenada Revolution, 1979-1983.
