Overview

In Temple Of Moo'D, Shakes and her best friend Percie were exploring the jungle and ran into members of the Hoofito tribe. Thinking they were in danger, they ran away and returned home, not realizing the Hoofito were just excited at the prospects of meeting their hero, Shakes. Upset at themselves for their actions, and realizing their mistake, Shakes and Percie want to make up for it and plan a trip back to the jungle. In this sixth Shakes the Cow picture book adventure from Deans Family Productions/Crass Fed Kids, Shakes and Percie return to the Hoofito's jungle to find the tribe and try to make up for their actions during their previous trip. J. Robert Deans has doodled all of his life. During his nearly ten-year career selling comics, he relaxed by drawing them, and started his own web comic. CRASS FED featured a cow, a penguin, and his signature sense of humor. Less than a day after being laid off, a silly idea struck: a cow lost in space. That idea became the first in the SHAKES THE COW series of picture books for young children, MOO THOUSAND AND PUN. Mid-grade spy adventures followed with the original version of the BEAR FROM AUNT series. Since then, Deans has created a series of storybooks written by his wife about MooseLambs, and a series of solo game adventures - STEER YOUR OWN STORY - based on a favorite series of books from his childhood, but starring the Deans family of characters.
