OverviewJudo: Appendix Aikido originally published in 1959 was written by Kenji Tomiki, who for many years received personal instruction in Judo from the late Jigoro Kano, founder of the Kodokan Judo Hall, until the latter's death in 1938. Mr. Tomiki specialized in Aikido and Judo throughout his martial arts career. He was the founder of the Japan Aikido Association and the competitive Aikido (Aikido kyogi) style. In this book Mr. Tomiki covers a large part of the Judo curriculum as well as an Appendix introducing the concepts of Aikido.
