Student apathy towards learning is something that is even more prevalent now than it was pre-Covid. The idea of finding ways to make all aspects of the teaching and learning process joyful is exciting for educators both new and tenured. I am always looking for ways to help students become more engaged in their learning. I was very interested when reading Chapter 5 Joyful Grading. A few things really stuck out for me in the chapter that I want to incorporate into my own classroom, specifically for the writing process.
