Author Information

Richard Jasnow is Professor of Egyptology at Johns Hopkins University. Previous publications include A Late Period Hieratic Wisdom Text and The Ancient Egyptian Book of Thoth (with Karl-Theodor Zauzich). Kathlyn M. Cooney is associate professor of Egyptian Art and Architecture at UCLA. She is author of The Cost of Death: The Social and Economic Value of Ancient Egyptian Funerary Art in the Ramesside Period and The Woman Who Would Be King: Hatshepsut's Rise to Power in Ancient Egypt.
