Author InformationBorn 22 October 1949, David has drawn and painted for as long as he can remember. After a bachelor's in Chemistry and architecture, a master's in architectural history, and a long career in international trade, David resolved to use his sketches and photographs as source material for a series of full-scale and mixed-media portraits. These depict a wide range of individuals and places. Whilst they are essentially topographical, David sees them as an exercise in combining with strongly and freely applied watercolour and body colour.
