Journey to Justice: The Inside Story of the Chinese Prosecutor Hsiang Che-Chun and His Team in the Tokyo Trial

Overview

The definitive insider account of the Tokyo Trial, written by the son of China's Chief Prosecutor, Hsiang Che-chun. Unlike general histories of WWII, Journey to Justice offers a rare, primary-source perspective on the legal battles fought by the Chinese prosecution team. Drawing on private family archives, diplomatic correspondence, and court records, Professor Longwan Xiang reconstructs how China successfully prosecuted Class-A war criminals despite immense international pressure.
