Through declassified World War Il military documents, saved letters to a new wife and mother during eight months of European combat locations, historical reports, infantry veterans'anecdotes, the internet and GPS, a seventy - year old son retraces his Father's 1944-45 World War Il combat experience along the 500 mile Cactus Trail- named after the longstanding 103rd Infantry (Cactus) Division emblemed with an orange and red Segura cactus patch.
