Overview

Sarah Grote is an award-winning photographer and painter residing in central Connecticut. Her work has been accepted into galleries and juried shows across Connecticut, and her photos have been featured in local, regional, national, and international publications. Sarah is always excited to share her love for the horses of the Connecticut Draft Horse Rescue (CDHR) through her artistry. CDHR is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2011 by Stacey Golub, DVM, and is dedicated to saving the lives of draft horses that were bound for slaughter, in addition to victims of starvation, neglect, or abuse whose owners are unable to provide for their needs. Sarah has been the official photographer for CDHR since 2014 and has been the VP of the Board of Directors since 2015. Sarah is honored to be part of this wonderful organization and is committed to CDHR's legacy, especially with this story of Spencer & Oliver, the Percheron ""Dream Team"".
