Today's generation of college students prefer learning in smaller daily doses. Simple tips, happy hacks, stress-busters and the top TED Talks are spread across 2 years. The bottom of each page is saved for Year 2, so students can reflect on what happened one year earlier, which is the top half of each page. Drawing on decades of research, Dr. Dave and his daughters crafted timely tips to arm students in their battles with stress, mental health struggles, and for getting along in their dorm room to succeeding in the classroom. It's like having a professor and professional counselor in your backpack! It's much more than a journal, it's a journey!"

"""I wish I could've had something like this when I was in college. I purchased this book as a gift for my niece, but I had a chance to flip through its pages. It's kind of like therapy in a book but without the hefty price tag attached! The book encourages reflection and can help you unwind, explore your thoughts, and gain insights without stepping into a therapist's office. It is full of helpful tips, research findings, and self-help resources. It makes journaling easy, fun, and interesting! Also having the same date for two years on each page is a clever way to help you actually review what you've written, so you can look back on your experiences and gratitude. Very cool book!"" ""I ordered this journal for my daughter and this journal is great. It has a spot for gratitude, lessons learned, treasured memories and so much more. I think my favorite part is the explanation at the beginning of the journal of the science behind the journal and why focusing on gratitude and happiness are so important. I also love the daily tips from exercising to how to talk to your professor. If you are looking for a unique graduation present for your high schooler, you should really check out this journal."" ""I am a Superintendent of a Northern Utah School District. As I've worked with Dr. Dave I have really appreciated his guidance in the world of happiness. As I've reviewed the book it looks like a great read an I am planning on getting copies for my grandchildren as they go to college."" ""As a psychologist I am consistently helping individuals transition to college. This is an excellent resource to aid in the adjustment to college. It has excellent prompts to record memories and goals. I value the focus on gratitude and the importance placed on learning from experiences."" ""As a mom of eight, two of which have already made the trek off to college and at least half of which struggle with differing forms of anxiety, I wish this would have been around sooner. It would have helped my oldest who has already gone through these experiences without it. I also wish for a Jr High and High School Journey journal for those who are still at home. As a certified life coach, I have referred clients to some of Dr. Dave's other tips in parenting and marriage but am excited to have this journal as a new reference that I feel really could be used by anyone at any stage of life. The questions in ""Fill in the blank Friday's"" posed by Dr. Dave help people to focus and really think and reflect on different aspects of their lives. As we self reflect, we make better decisions and find new perspectives which can help to make our lives better. In his ""Sunday stress busters,"" Dr. Dave gives helpful tips on how we can overcome or work through stress. So many of us don't know how to work through our stress or negative emotions as adults. Having a journal where young adults learn how to manage and work through that as they navigate their way from adolescence to adulthood is priceless."" ""As a mother of college age daughters, this journal is a game changer. I love how it is supported by science but still has a fun and light tone. The way the authors have the top half, bottom half of pages for consecutive years is so creative and effective. I love they incorporated the power of gratitude and remind the writers to be specific. It is a bonus that we are able to use the QR codes to watch inspiring and informative videos. This journal really is the perfect gift for any college student, or student of life, who is starting a new journey. What an incredible resource!"""
