Building on the foundation of Chicana Lesbians: The Girls Our Mothers Warned Us About (1991) and Compañeras (1987), JOTA shares a new addition to the queer Latinx literary and artistic canons with stories, poems, essays, plays, art, and music. JOTA arrives at a critical moment when political systems threaten queer communities once again-yet contributors now have more tools to resist. We will resist!
