Jonesey and the Sweet Tea Curse follows the legendary Old Jonesey, a once-famous moonshiner who made his fortune under the hot Mississippi moon before fleeing the law and disappearing into the piney woods of Pisgah, Mississippi. Hoping to leave his wild past behind, he builds himself a grand manor deep in the woods-a place where he imagines quiet evenings by the lake and a life free of trouble. But trouble has a way of finding Jonesey. Moonshiners don't simply quit moonshining, after all. One fateful night, while scouting for a secluded spot to set up a new still, Jonesey wanders too far into the wrong stretch of woods. There he crosses paths with Lethal Lily, the mysterious swamp witch whispered about in local folklore. With a single curse, she strips him of his flesh, binds him to his manor and the surrounding woods, and condemns him to brew sweet tea for eternity-no moonshine allowed. In disbelief, Jonesey tries to make his way back home, hoping everything will snap back to normal. Instead, each step reveals a hidden world beneath the familiar pines: haunted lagoons churning with undead mischief, cursed pirates pacing the shoreline, graveyards that sprout up overnight, and enchanted forests filled with creatures both helpful and horrifying. Along the way he meets Flynt the lagoon zombie, restless spirits, and other bizarre souls forever twisted by Lily's magic. What begins as a search for answers becomes a haunting adventure through a supernatural Mississippi-one where Jonesey must face the curse, the witch who cast it, and the strange realm that has claimed him as its own.
