Jonathan Swift (1667–1745) is regarded as the foremost prose satirist in the English language. Martin Jenkins is a conservation biologist by trade and has written numerous children's books about the natural world. Chris Riddell is an award-winning author, illustrator and political cartoonist for the Observer. He lives in Brighton.
