OverviewPerhaps counter-intuitively, one of the common behaviours amongst comedians is discipline - doing the work. And the first part of that work is writing material. Regardless of their performing style, for many comedians, jokes are the building block of their act. New Zealand comedian Terry Williams set himself a task to publicly commit to the discipline of writing at least one joke a day and publishing it online for at least a year. This first book covers the first quarter of that year's worth of efforts. Humour is subjective at the best of times but the feedback was good and the likes and follows trended up and up. In response to those likers and followers, and their requests for those jokes in whatever passes for book-form these days, here it is. A class act... very funny. - Theatreview Very polished. - macandmae A unique brand of comedy that inspires as well as entertains, with wisdom among some well-woven tales. - keepingupwithnz.com He takes to the stage like a seasoned pro... some of the best punchlines I've heard.
