The suggested sets are only meant as examples and should be changed if preferred. For box players, the book provides chords placed beneath the music notation but there is also chord arrangements included which may make it easier on the eyes for guitar, bouzouki or cittern players i.e. a page of Chord Arrangements follows the Music Notation. While it is custom to play each tune twice or rather three times, most tunes were played once only because of the sheer volume of tunes. However, a few tunes were performed twice or three times. Another few were presented with bodhran accompaniment. The single reel Flowers of Red Hill was played three times because of its variations. Each tune in the set Sporting Paddy - Man of The House (single reels) was repeated three times as well. The reel the MASON'S APRON, apart from being played in a set, was also performed as a single track but in this case with 4 variations. Chord Arrangements: Chord Arrangements were meticulously vetted for accuracy.
