Over my many years of teaching I noticed that most beginners gravitate to tunes they enjoy and often find others to be a bit of a chore; so I decided to compose a book of fun and enjoyable tunes roughly in the style of the ones that my students enjoyed and made sure they are beginner friendly as well as progressive in difficulty. I've had many students trying out these tunes with excellent feedback. If you are a beginner or a guitar instructor - this is the book you've been waiting for! Every tune is fun and enjoyable and teaches you something new. No page turns! TAB only with slash rhythm (no standard notation) - ideal for beginners! A book by a guitarist and a guitar teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience. Designed with beginners in mind so you'll not see 3 finger chords or fast quaver or crotchet feel chord changes as is often the case with many ""initial"" or ""debut"" books out there. This book will not teach you to read TAB but typically you should be able to do this within 2 lessons or so from your local guitar teacher. It covers a range of genres including blues, funk, rock and pop.
