Overview

Joe and Kate find two young children who were lost in the mountains. The mother of the children is dead, and the father is outlaw Ripper Connor, who leads a gang of murderers and robbers who are wanted by the law from Texas to Montana. When Collins learns where his children are, he will stop at nothing to reclaim them, even if it means burning the town of Bow River and killing everyone there. But Joe intends to stop him, aided by a local priest with a gunfighter past, and a mysterious man who seems to have no past at all. Has Collins met his match?

Brad Dennison was born in rural New England and grew up reading Louis L'Amour, Luke Short, A. B. Guthrie, Jr., and even Edgar Rice Burroughs. He knew at fourteen he wanted to write for a living, and refused to give up the goal even when the odds seemed overwhelmingly against it. Now, thanks to Amazon, his stories are available. He is a member of the Western Writers of America. Brad fell in love with the Old West at a very young age. It began with movies and old TV series like Gunsmoke and Bonanza, and later expanded to western novels. This led to his study of Western history. The pioneers, the Indians, the cattlemen, the gunfighters. His interest in history is not so much about wars and great leaders, but the people who lived on the land. And that's what he writes about. The people. He doesn't write about the old west as much as he writes about what it might have felt like to be there. J. Rodney Turner is a prolific audiobook narrator who specializes in historical fiction set in the post-Civil War era, as well as Westerns, mystery/thrillers, and crime dramas. Rodney served as an air traffic controller in the Navy and in the Federal Aviation Administration for a combined thirty-one years. He has two sons, four grandsons, and one granddaughter, and resides in a small farming community north of Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife of over twenty years, Julie, and their daughter, Rylie.
