Cuauhtemoc (Chucky) Cortez, a proud Mexican American from the small border town of Calexico, is making his debut in children's literature with the adventures of Joaquiner Stinker. The idea for the story came to life during the Covid lockdown, inspired by his nephew's playful pretend play as a skunk. Chucky hopes his stories will entertain and inspire young readers to embrace their creativity and imagination.
