Author Information

Siobhan Nash-Marshall is a professor of philosophy at Manhattanville College where she holds the Mary T. Clark Chair of Christian Philosophy. She has written numerous articles and books in different languages on medieval and contemporary philosophy, on Boethius, Anselm of Canterbury, Thomas Aquinas, freedom of will, evil, divine simplicity, metaphysical primitives, and the ontological difference between man and woman. She is currently writing a book on the problem of evil. Professor Nash-Marshall has for years been a champion of both the Armenians and of the need for philosophers to enter the genocide discussion. Along with writing a commentary on the poetry of Taniel Varujan, and writing the inaugural entry on genocide for the Catholic Encyclopedia of Philosophy, she organized the first ever sessions on Armenian culture at the world renowned International Congress of Medieval and Renaissance Studies at Western Michigan University, and three conferences on Armenian Culture and the Genocide at the University of Saint Thomas in Minnesota.
