Jeevakarunya Nirupanam by Chattampi Swami was first serialized in five issues of M N Nair Masika in 1936. The message contained in the book can be summed up like this. The world is built upon Non violence. If the animals are created for the use of man to kill and eat them, lion, tiger, panther etc should eat man and we have to agree that man is created to serve as their food.

Sree Vidyadhiraja Parama Bhattaraka Chattampi Swamikal (30 August 1853 - 5 May 1924) was a Hindu sage and social reformer. His thoughts and work influenced the launching of many social, religious, literary and political organisations and movements in Kerala and for the first time gave voice to those who were marginalised.
