Catherine Hapka has published more than two hundred books for kids, from board books to young adult novels. She lives in an old house on a small farm in Chester Country, Pennsylvania, where she keeps three horses, a small flock of chickens, and too many cats. Kathryn Selbert's work is inspired by the people she meets in her everyday life, our colorful world, flora and fauna, and having fun. She earned her BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design and works as a freelance children's book illustrator, She lives in New Haven, Connecticut, with her French bulldog, Margot. kathrynselbertillustration.com.
