After Halloween one year, my 2-year-old son developed a sudden fear of monsters and the dark. Bedtimes became a challenge as he would wake up crying, saying, ""Monsters! I'm scared..."" My husband and I tried to comfort him and explain who Jesus Christ is but at such a young age, he found it hard to understand. That's when the idea for this book was born.
