Carsten Peter Thiede was a Professor of New Testament History with Papyrology and Archaeology at STH in Basel, Switzerland., and taught at the Dept of International Studies at the Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Beer-Sheva, Israel. He is the co-author of 'The Jesus Papyrus' and author of 'The Dead Sea Scrolls'.
