He did his Master's degree from Marathwada University, Maharashtra and did his Ph.D. degree in Physics from S.P.Universitry, Gujarat. He joined as a scientist at National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi.His research work was in soft material physics. He went to Germany for three years as a Post- doctoral fellow and visited France and England. He published more than 200 research publications in International journals and have six Indian and foreign patents to his credit. He guided 20 research students for their doctoral (Ph.D.) degree. Presently, he is working at the same Institute (NPL) as an honorary scientist."""
