Overview

The lovable animals of Crab Lake are back in these five sweet, fun, and thrilling stories. Jeannie is back in Wisconsin for the winter to play, catch up, and share the joy of the holidays with some of her woodland friends, like Pudgey Bear, Belknap Beaver, and Mr. O'Possum. From making Christmas dinner, helping escaped polar bears, and battling a snowstorm, these tales will have you entertained from beginning to end. Jeannie and all the animals of Crab Lake teach everyone that friendship and coming together to help others is what leads to the greatest of adventures.

Author Information

For David Mulford and his wife, Jeannie, Christmas would not be complete without their visits to the beautiful Wisconsin waters of Crab Lake. These magical journeys provide the inspiration for David's whimsical tales. In addition to writing, David has a PhD from Oxford University, serves as a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institute at Stanford University, and has enjoyed a long and notable career in international finance and diplomacy. For the last twenty-seven years, David's Christmas gift to Jeannie, no matter where they are in the world, has been a story of Christmas at Crab Lake. This is the first such tale. When not traveling, David and Jeannie reside in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Christine Cathers Donohue resides in N.J. with her husband and two children. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The University of the Arts as well as a wealth of experience illustrating greeting cards and producing award-winning fine art paintings. Her paintings and prints may be purchased on Amazon and from her site on Etsy.
