Meet Jassy Bear, a young bear who loves playgrounds, swimming and his toy cars. Most of all he loves his family. Jassy Bear has autism and is non-speaking so is learning how to use his special device called his 'talker' (AAC) to express his wants and needs along with other methods of non-verbal communication. Through this heart-warming and beautifully illustrated story, children (and their grown ups) will learn about autism and how it can be different in each person, which is why it's called Autism Spectrum Disorder or ASD. Jassy Bear, along with his family and animal friends, take you on a journey as he searches for acceptance, understanding and inclusion.
