Author Information

James King, Distinguished University Professor in the Department of English and Cultural Studies at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, has been a John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Fellow and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. Yuriko Iwakiri is an independent scholar and curator specializing in the field of Ukiyo-e and has published extensively on the subject. She has won the Uchiyama Memorial Prize of the International Ukiyo-e Society in 2006.
