OverviewElection Night 2024, a divided and polarized nation waits for the results of the election. When Kamala Harris wins the election to become America's first female Indian-American and African-American female president, in a repeat of the 2020 election, Donald Trump cries without evidence that the election has been stolen from him once again as the nation erupts into violence. Into this highly polarized nation teetering on the brink of Civil War we follow two families, the Gupta family, who are elated to see an Indian American woman and send to the presidency but they worry about the violence that it might be perpetrated against them as an immigrant family in America. Then we also follow Gus, a right-wing extremist who believes every single conspiracy theory and has been radicalized by the Internet and listening to conservative talk radio and news and is out on parole after his role in the first insurrection of January 6, 2021. These two families will take a different path over the course of the next several tense months between election day and inauguration day. Will history repeat itself as it did on January 6, 2021, and will these characters choose a path of violence or will they reject violence and extremism and follow the path of peace?
