Overview

Some books are written from experience. Others are written from imagination. This one is written from the place where those two worlds meet. The woman who inspired these pages is real. Her name is Janet. Our interactions have been simple-written conversations, thoughtful exchanges, and a few spoken moments. Yet inspiration does not require proximity. Sometimes it only requires a spark. From that spark grew stories, poems, images, and music inside my mind. The pages that follow explore those reflections through different artistic lenses: sculpture, painting, music, dance, photography, and finally grace. None of these moments truly happened.
