Overview

With no college degree or scientific experience, Jane was just 26 when she set up camp (with her mum) at Gombe Stream National Park in Tanzania and began her groundbreaking research on chimpanzees. Within a few years, not only had she made exceptional discoveries about chimp behaviour, she had also revolutionised the way naturalists carried our their research.
