Overview

Jakiah is the name of the author's niece. The Crown family started out as five members. There were two brothers, Dylan and me, Dion; one sister whose name is Melanie; the mom, Margarita; and the dad, James. Dylan ended up having a daughter whom Dion, or Uncle Dion, loves very much. She is the inspiration on why I wrote this book. Jakiah's Prayers isn't just a book about stories. Writing this taught me I need to be a good example as an uncle, an adult, and as a man to everyone.
