A former art critic and feature writer for The New York Times and NPR radio commentator, she has lectured widely and is the author of numerous exhibition catalogues and several books, including a monograph on Larry Rivers and (with Constance Ayres Denne) Hamptons Bohemia: Two Centuries of Artists and Writers on the Beach.
