Chris and Maureen Harrington, are the proud parents of Ivy and Authors. Ivy's setback taught them one of the most important lessons in life, to never give up. After Ivy became paralyzed, they looked for answers on how she could live a happy life. They then watched Ivy wake up each day stronger and more determined than the next. Two steps on two paws turned into running on two paws (and sometimes with a little extra help from her wheels). Chris and Maureen were so inspired by Ivy that they knew her story needed to be shared beyond their home. They worked for years on publishing this five star award winning book. Ivy is the inspiration behind the book, but it was written to inspire children that anything is possible if you believe in yourself.
