A computerized system providing information on the thermodynamic properties of some 2,300 substances (containing 85 elements and the electron) in the standard state over a wide temperature range. This unique software programme allows the user to calculate thermodynamic parameters of chemical reactions and the composition of chemical systems. ""Ivtanthermo, Version 3"" provides the following information on each substance with choice of formats, temperature scales, and energy units: substance name and chemical formula; accuracy of thermodynamic properties; isobaric heat capacity, entropy, change of enthalpy, and Gibbs energy function; equation(s) fitting tabulated values of Gibbs energy function; and enthalpy of formation, equilibrium constant. ""Ivtanthermo, Version 3"" will run on IBM-compatible AT class or PS/2 personal computers (80287, 80387 or higher) with 640K RAM and a hard drive containing a minimum of 2.5MB of available disk space. DOS 3.0 or higher is required. ACCG, EGA or VGA card is required for graphics. A maths co-processor and PC-compatible printer are recommended.
