Author Information
Dr. Robert D'Antonio was formally trained in public health at Johns Hopkins University's Bloomberg School for Public Health and earned his Ph.D. from the Tropical Medicine Center. He worked for the United States Agency for International Development and the World Health Organization, building diagnostic health clinics in third world countries. In Maryland, Dr. D'Antonio built one of the first private MRI centers as well as the first nuclear medicine center, and he created one of the first Independent Practice Association in the state, consisting of 158 board certified physicians. D'Antonio also provides health care consulting to the U.S. Navy and many private clients.
