Author Information

About the Author My name is Brie and I am an environmental scientist who currently does work in restoration ecology. I am a single mom who is raising my brilliant, free spirited daughter Meadow to love nature too. We spend most of our time outdoors, travelling and camping around the eastern side of Canada, exploring and creating all kinds of adventures and memories! I was raised in a small town in Quebec, spent many years living in British Columbia and am now residing in Ontario. My dream is to one day own a small farm where my daughter and I can live a self sustaining life off grid while also being able to provide fresh produce for others who are less fortunate and as vegans, we would of course also love to be able to rescue farm animals! About the Illustrator Hi! I'm Victor Moore! I'm a young freelance artist who was born and raised in Fort Erie, Ontario. From a young age I loved art which developed from my love for dragons, which is what I'd most often draw. I'll probably be graduated from Sheridan College's Visual and Creative Arts adv program by the time you read this. In my free time I enjoy indulging in learning about biology, fossils and history but I also enjoy playing video games. This is the first book I've illustrated and I think it was the perfect fit for me, always loving animals since a young age, even the ""weird"" ones. Currently I have a pet snake and lizard who are pretty much my kids. I'd like to dedicate this book to my family, friends and many teachers I've had along the way who always stood by my side and supported me to getting where I am today.
